| CIRCLE WITH REVEREND JOSEPH EVENS |
Rev. Joseph Evens will be conducting service at Sunset Church on Easter Sunday, April 4. Rev. Evens lives in Colorado and will be with us for the weekend. He has offered to conduct a Circle on Saturday evening, April 3, with any donations received to go toward the bathhouse fund. Please contact Linda if you plan to attend, as we will likely make plans for dinner that evening and will want to keep you informed. We appreciate Rev. Evens making the trip to Kansas to serve Sunset Church! |

We are in class and church every Sunday morning, and urge you to join us! Just keep an eye on the weather and if road or weather conditions are questionable, call before you head our way. We have already had to cancel Sunday services three times this winter, and it ain't Spring yet! Call Linda 620-727-4329, or any Board member to check the status of Sunday morning services. |

Dear Friends,
The March meeting of the Board of Trustees will follow a pot luck lunch on the seventh. It is time to put the finishing touches on the Camp schedule. If you have volunteered to teach a class, please contact Linda, Debbie, or Mary with the name and description of your class. If you don't, they will hunt you down. Camp Book sponsors need to contact Ron Glasgow this month as well. Naturally we will continue to accept your donations, but we would like to acknowledge your donation in the book.
Saturday, February 20th we had a good turnout for the Spiritual Psychic Development class, but Saturday night winter weather rolled in and Church was cancelled. Kevin Phillips was snowed in at Mankato with five inches of snow. Those who stayed at the Camp Saturday night were all headed South and got home with no problems. I'm anxious for our schedule to get back to normal. Kevin left us all on the edge of our seats as he continues his series on The History of Spiritualism. This series is being presented in conjunction with Cynthia's class so no one will miss out.
The Board did take up the question of Spring Workshops. The general consensus is we simply will not have time. The Board wants to continue improvements to the old auditorium building. This is the building that now houses the Camp office, snack bar, massage room, and several bedrooms. I believe the campers who are assigned to rooms 14 and 15 will be very happy for the trade off. We will also continue with Cynthia's classes through the Spring. The Board feels it would overextend itself to take on additional obligations and is very committed to the success of these projects.
I would beg your patience as I address the Build a Bathhouse project. This project very well may be the most successful campaign in the history of Sunset Church since funds were raised in the mid 60's to build the church building itself. We are so close to our start up goal. I could not be more proud. This project is not yet two years old! Thank you to everyone who made an extra donation in December/January. Thank you to those who have made a pledge and stuck with it month after month whether through the mail or paypal. There is still work to do, but I still wanted to acknowledge what has been accomplished.
Even though we are not planning Spring workshops, we will have opportunities to get together to learn, work, eat, and even play. I hope you will join us for a Saturday class or a Sunday morning service. I'll see you there.

Please call Evadne to reserve your spot in this group, and to check for weather or other possible cancellations. Her new phone number is 785-826-1633. You may also contact Rev. Tuxhorn regarding your interest in evening or weekend classes in Sacred Geometry, Beginning Psychic Development, and other courses of study that she offers. |
| March 20- Spiritual Psychic Development Class with Cynthia Killion |
Cynthia Killion's "Spiritual Psychic Development" class continues monthly at Sunset Church. Please contact Cynthia to register for this class. We are now in our second Unit of Cynthia's curriculum, but it's not too late to join us! During the winter months it is especially important to pre-register so that we can contact everyone if the weather should cause a cancellation. Cabins are available for those who are able to stay for Sunday services, but come prepared with space heaters and warm clothing! Cynthia's fee for each class is $20.00 (well below her usual fee for this type of instruction). Sunset Church gratefully accepts any love offerings or donations toward the expenses of meals, cabins, and just plain old heat and electricity.
