LOVING CONCERN
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Please include Eugene and Leo Whitley and the Greenwood family in your prayers.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Last month shear winds picked up the mobile home owned by Kitty and Lee Greenwood and set it down 6 feet off the foundation. Kitty and Dallas were able to get out of the home without any injuries (Lee was on a truck run). Their home was totaled and they have been staying on the church grounds. Kitty informed us that they have found a mobile home to rent in Bennington and should be able to move in within the week.

A note from Judy and April
Hi everybody, April drove to Texas by herself, on June 22nd and Kayleih was born on the 24th at 3:35 p.m. She was 8 lbs, 6 0z. & 19 inches long. They are both doing great. We didn’t get there until 30 minutes after she was born because April was only in labor for 6 1/2 hours. Thank you to everyone who gave her such positive, loving & reassuring energy.
There is a picture of April and Kayleih on the Sunset Camp web site www.sunsetcamp.org. Greetings may be sent to:

ATTIC ANGELS
Recently Marge Glasgow, a member of Sunset Spiritualist Church was honored by having a wonderful story written in the Salina Journal about her “attic angels”, hand made creations she shares with others. They are not just for everyone but for those with special circumstances.
Marge hand crafts each “attic angel”. She has made over 50 angel creations and they have been sent all over the country to those in need of some special angel care. Most recently, Marge’s daughter Kim Bascom a hospice nurse in Cincinnati, Ohio, received 14 angels to share with her hospice patients. When Kim informed Marge that she and her patients often talk of angels Marge went right to work making a batch and she will continue to make a new one for each new client Kim has.
Marge uses tea-stained muslin, dresser scarves, old pillow cases and doilies and other scraps to fashion the angels that look like they had been forgotten in the attic for many years. Marge puts lots of love as well as many hours into each of her creations.
Several years ago Sunset Camp was delighted to receive 14 “attic angels” to sell for a fund raising project. She has also contributed her angels to local hospital bazaars.
Marge says she makes her angels to bring joy, love and happiness to others, in the process it brings joy and happiness to her.
Thanks Marge for reminding us the importance of sharing our love with others.
A copy of the Salina Journal and the article will be on display at the church.
A quote from my day calendar sums it up nicely.
“May we each aim to give back all the love that originally brought us here.
This is how the miracle and the celebration begin.”
FROM OUR PRESIDENT – DAYA
I would like to thank everyone for a very interesting Camp this year. We (Jade and I) met many new friends and touched bases with people from past years. I learned new/old information, had many blessings, tested new waters (some were deep), healed old wounds (mine), stretched a few wing feathers, danced and sang, and stood in the morning glory of our new stained glass window. What a time we had getting ready for camp, lots of challenges and way lots more fun. I have learned a tremendous amount this past year as president and the previous two years as vice-president. I asked the Universe to be ”more involved’. Oh my, did I ever get to be more involved. I want to thank Every-one for these years of Growth and Learning! I want to thank the Board for all of their Support and Input, both Mentally and Physically, but most of all Spiritually. Our Camp is GROWING, and we need to grow with it. We have taken many steps to help us in that endeavor. The major repair of cabins, clearing debris and detritus, to allow for new growth, NEW Facilities in the dining room, and many, many small things. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in some small way to facilitate the growth of Sunset Spiritualist Camp and Church.
Yours in LIGHT and LOVE,
Daya Sei’lgre-Martin
Look to this day
for it is life
the very life of life
In its brief course lie all
the realities and truths of existence
the joy of growth
the splendor of action
the glory of power
For yesterday is but a memory
And tomorrow is only a vision
But today well lived makes every yesterday a memory
of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope
Look well, therefore, to this day!
