What a wonderful event we had! Thanks to all who made it the beautiful, uplifting experience we so enjoyed. This quote from a newspaper ad promoting Camp in August 1880 was part of our theme:
“Come, friends, and let us reason together, laying aside for a few days the cares and toils of life, and let us have a season of spiritual growth and culture that shall hasten the time when bigotry and superstition shall be swept from the land, and mankind be thereby made happier and better.”
These words are as true today as they were 142 years ago! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are so blessed to have devoted members and ministers who give of their time and talents with great love!
Healers of various modalities will offer their services on a free of charge. Come have a session with one or several of our skilled healers! Please contact Linda, llundberg300! , 620-727-4329, if you would like to participate as one of the healers, or to reserve a cabin. Meals will be provided. Free-will donations are, as always, appreciated.
Workshop by Rev. Pat Yotter, August 13, 10am-5pm
We are excited to have Rev. Yotter bless us with her wisdom and wit! Please contact Linda to reserve your seat in this inspiring workshop and to reserve a cabin if you wish to spend the weekend. Meals will be served. This weekend is offered on a free-will donation basis.
“SO YOU WANT TO BE A MEDIUM (or at least feel closer to Spirit)”
Workshop by Rev. Charles Cox, September 17, 10am-5pm
Strengthen your intuitive self to become a better receiver of guidance for yourself and receive messages more clearly for others. Contact Linda to reserve your spot or book a cabin. Meals will be served. This weekend is offered on a free-will donation basis.
*FYI Retired Rev. Charles Cox, who has served as our web-minister for MANY years, informs us that he has updated the directories of Spiritualist Churches and Camps on our website. This was no small task. We are so blessed to have someone who is tech-savvy handling this part of our ministry. THANK YOU CHARLES – how we thank God for you!!

KEEPING UP WITH THE BOARD by President Karen Lyons
The Board of Trustees will meet on July 10 at 10:00. The agenda will include a debriefing concerning Camp.  We will try to identify areas where improvement is needed, but the fact is we had a great Camp.  There will also be some attention to projects and updates.  All regular meetings are open and anyone is welcome.
The Board of Trustees has approved and are planning several events through the Summer and Fall.  The next is the Free Healing Meet-Up on July 9th.  The Healers requested this event and you will recall, they have done this before.  The Healers will set up in various locations around the grounds.  Signup sheets will be available and guests simply sign up with the Healers of their choice and take turns.  The Healers give their time free of charge.  Lunch will be provided as well as dinner for those who wish to stick around.  Donations for meals and expenses are accepted, but there is no fee or suggested donation for that matter.  This event has been wildly popular in the past, and I expect a good turnout.  Cabins are available.  Give us a call to reserve yours.  I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for healing, learning, and fellowship.
