God, You, and Me will be a class about relationship. We’ll be looking at the relationship between ourselves and God, ourselves and ourselves, and ourselves and others. (Anyone think that’s just too darn many ourselves in one sentence?) This will be the combination of two classes we did not finish at camp, plus other stuff. Not sure what other stuff, but, I threw that in so the class would sound more interesting.
There will be some difficult questions and some easy ones. Maybe. We’ll have some role-playing and maybe just playing. We might be irreverent, and even irrelevant. Or – we may not. Hopefully we’ll be laughing and learning at the same time. But if we have to skip one of them we’ll skip the learning and just laugh.
The hope is, we will be leaving with a little more knowledge about how we relate to God, ourselves, and others; and have an idea about what we might want to change and a few pointers on how to go about that.
Rev. Yotter is an outstanding teacher who makes us laugh, cry, and take home much to ponder whenever she speaks. The weekend will be presented on a free-will donation basis. Please contact Linda 620-727-4329 (phone or text message) or firstname.lastname@example.org to register and/or reserve a cabin. We hope you’ll join us!
