August 10, 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

“Living In Spirit” with Christian Mystic Leslie Draper

Leslie came to us for the first time as a Reader for this year’s Camp. Her story and her teaching touched us all. Since returning home to Norman, Oklahoma, Leslie and her family have faced challenges with medical expenses and issues with their health insurance. Leslie has agreed to return to Wells to expand on the class she taught at Camp with an all-day workshop. The workshop, cabins, and meals will be available for a free-will donation, with all proceeds going to Leslie to assist her and her family through this difficult time.

The morning session will be on “Soul Stuff”, what makes you YOU, and will also include Akashic Records, Soul Contracts, Soul Cords, Soul Lessons, and Past Lives. The afternoon will explore The Power of Your Consciousness, Point of Attraction, Your Quantum Field, What Do You Believe?, Creating Effective Seed Statements, an exercise called Brain Dump, and Meditation, Visualization and Dancing With Spirit. After supper we’ll have a Circle.

Contact Linda 620-727-4329, to register or to reserve a cabin.

Please plan to attend this important Workshop! Not only will it assist each of us on our Spiritual Journey, but we will have the opportunity to support Leslie with our love, monetary gifts, and our presence.

President Karen Lyons and Secretary Linda Lundberg are now permanent residents of Wells. Their email addresses have changed and are now: ; .

The  August Meeting is scheduled for the 4th at 10:00 AM for the election of Officers.  There will be a potluck dinner following the meeting. This year we will also be filling three Trustee positions.  I hope you will find time to attend this important meeting.

Camp was awesome!  I know I have said this before, but I really think this was the best Camp Season we have had in a while.  I had a great time. The worst thing that happened was the failure of our wi-fi router. I know that for some, that is very very bad, but we made it through.  Don’t worry the Board is investigating the best steps to take to get us the best wi-fi coverage. I think that our service will end up being better than ever.

The Board of Trustees is happy to host a weekend with Leslie Draper.  We met Leslie for the first time at Camp. Leslie is inspired and delightful.  We are honored to have an opportunity to highlight Leslie. If you have not met Leslie, she has quite a story of overcoming.  It is one thing to sit in a class and learn about healing, it is quite another to sit in a class and witness healing. You will not be disappointed with this class.  The Board is offering the class, cabin, and meals in exchange for a free will donation. All proceeds from the weekend will go to Leslie to help with the financial challenges she and her family are facing due to her husband’s workplace accident.

Linda and I have been too busy.  We are now moved to our home in Wells, but there are boxes to be unpacked and more stuff than we need or will ever use.  As I am writing this, I realize that lately our lives have revolved around a bunch of stuff. I have always thought that I lived a simple life free of materialism.  That’s a laugh. We have gotten rid of some, but we have a way to go to get this stuff under control. I have come to the conclusion that I know where I want my heart to be and I better start getting my treasure to that place! I am sharing this thinking that maybe I’m not the only one who needs to stop and take an inventory.  Where my treasure is kept is where my heart resides. The same is true for you.
