June 1-9, 2019

We are excited about our Camp plans! Even after a long, wet, and cold Winter, we know June will be here before we know it!

Camp books will be completed soon and email notice sent out. Those who do not have email access will this year receive a postcard in the mail with instructions to download the Camp book from our website or to contact us if they wish to receive a hard copy in the mail. Since so many individuals now prefer to receive information electronically, the Board decided to reduce paper waste and mailing expense in this way. Paper copies of the Camp book can be printed upon arrival for those who request them.

With warmer weather arriving, we will be busy preparing the church and grounds for our week of Camp. If you are able to join us on any weekend to assist in work projects, you will be most welcomed!

President Karen Lyons and Secretary Linda Lundberg are now permanent residents of Wells. Their email addresses have changed and are now: ; .

Prayer Requests

All prayer requests are shared with the congregation each Sunday morning at Sunset Church. When requested, they are forwarded via e-mail as well. If you have a prayer concern, please call any Board member or e-mail

If you have e-mail and are not getting the Newsletter online, contact Linda 620-727-4329, or . If you have e-mail but are still getting the hard copy in the mail and would be willing to be taken off of the snail mail list, please let Linda know about this also.

The  April Board Meeting is scheduled for the 7th at 10:00 AM followed by a Healing/Message service.  Potluck lunch will be shared at the conclusion of services. I anticipate the Board will put the final touches on Camp.  The Board has also been going over the recommendations of the By-Law Committee. That work will also continue.

The best news is that Camp will be here before we know it.  Work will begin on the grounds as soon as the weather permits.  Any needed repairs will be made to the cabins and all preparations will be made to welcome you home.  We are still waiting for our contractor to replace cabin five which, you recall was involved in an accident last year.  Not to worry. Everything will be ready when you arrive.

Pray for the leaders of the Nations.  Let there be peace in the heart of mankind.  Heart. Because we are all one, with one heart.
